Arksey

Arksey is a village in the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster in South Yorkshire, England. It had an estimated population of 1,303 as of 2010.[1] It was the birthplace of the children's writer Barbara Euphan Todd on 9 January 1890. Arksey has four satellite hamlets, Shaftholme, Tilts, Almholme and Stockbridge.

History

The parish church of All Saints is Grade I listed, dating back to the 1120s.[2]
