Born in Pančevo, he played in Serbia, Greece, Germany and Bahrain. As a coach, he led teams in Serbia, the Netherlands, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait.
He is known as a top connoisseur of football in Asia , especially in Arabic countries. Remains noted that he formed a lot of young players who have become a national team players as Abdulaziz Al-Muqbali, Ali Al-Busaidi and many others.
