161 Maiden Lane

161 Maiden Lane (also known as 1 Seaport) is a residential skyscraper on hold in the Financial District of Manhattan, New York City. The building currently leans three inches to the north as a result of the method used to construct its foundation.[1] The tilting is the subject of a law suit between the developer, Fortis Property Group, and engineering firm Pizzarotti.[2] The building topped out in September 2018.[3]

In 2018 an employee of a subcontractor working on the site died after falling from the building's 29th floor.[4][5]
