1886 in Australian soccer
The 1886 season was the third season of competitive association football in Australia. The Northern NSW Football introduced their Northern NSW football league (now known as the National Premier Leagues Northern NSW).

The Northern NSW state league began in 1886. Minmi Rangers won the annual championship.[1]
