2020 Asian Men's Youth Handball Championship

The 2020 Asian Men's Youth Handball Championship will be 9th edition of the championship to be held from 5 to 17 June 2021 at Almaty, Kazakhstan under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation (AHF).[1] It will be first time in history that the championship will be organised by Kazakhstan Handball Federation. It also acts as qualification tournament for the 2021 Men's Youth World Handball Championship to be held in Greece with 5 quota places.

The championship was previously scheduled to take place firstly from 15 to 26 August 2020 and then from 24 October to 3 November 2020 and then from 1 to 12 March 2021 but was postponed all the times due to COVID-19 pandemic.[2] [3]

The schedule of draw will be announced soon by the Asian Handball Federation.

Seeding

Teams were seeded according to the AHF COC regulations and rankings of the previous edition of the championship. Teams who had not participated in the previous edition were in Pot 4.
