1st Plenary Session 10 January 2021 1 day The plenary session elected the 8th Politburo Presidium, the 8th Politburo, the 8th Secretariat, the 8th Central Military Commission, the 8th Central Auditing Commission, the directors of the Central Committee departments, and the editor-in-chief of the Rodong Sinmun.[4] It also studied and discussed the establishment of a new discipline and supervision system within the Party, and decided to form an execution department to guarantee the Central Auditing Commission's authority to supervise and investigate on party discipline matters.[4]
