Legacy

In 1962, the film was used in its entirety as part of the film, Frigid Wife. A 12-minute prologue was tacked on, where a marriage counselor, Dr. Foster (Ken Elliott), uses the situation of A Modern Marriage, told as if it was a case history. This was to help two of his patients, Ruth Turner and Barbara Reed, the former being frigid, while the latter is married to a man who is impotent.[4]
