Aaj Rang Hai

Aaj Rang Hai often called Rang or Rung (meaning colour in Hindi and many other North Indian languages), is a Qawwali composed by Amir Khusro[1] in appreciation of Sufi saint Nizamuddin Auliya. It is a staple of most Qawwali sessions in North India and Pakistan, specially in the Chishti shrines of Delhi. Traditionally it is sung as a closing piece at the end of a Qawwali session.

Before his death, the renowned Qawwali singer Amjad Sabri performed it along with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in Season Finale of Coke Studio 9. [3]
