Aashir Wajahat

Aashir Wajahat (born 11 October 2002) is a Pakistani actor, singer and musician. Aashir started his career when he was nine years old. He has appeared in numerous films, advertisements, music videos and telefilms. He also walks for Hum Fashion Week. He has acted in feature films Karachi Se Lahore (2015), Lahore Se Aagey (2016) and Chhalawa (2019).[1][2] In 2016, Aashir started his music career by singing a song "Tere Bina" in Lahore Se Aagey.[3][4]

Early life

Aashir was born on 11 October 2002 in Karachi. He is the eldest son of producer Wajahat Rauf. He has one younger brother Nayel Wajahat. He did his schooling from Chinioti School and later continued his O’ levels from Indus Academy. Currently, he is completing his A’ levels from The Lyceum School.[5]

Career

Aashir started his career with a telefilm Mai Kukkoo Aur Woh which was critically praised and won the Hum Award for Best Television Film. He worked with Ayeza Khan, Shehzad Sheikh, Qavi Khan and others in that telefilm. He then appeared in various other telefilms including Dulha Mai Leke Jaongi, Aik Aur Aik Dhai, He further played supporting roles in dramas Kiya Life Hai (2011), Ali Haider Ali Safina (2012), Sautili (2012) and Billo Babblo Aur Bhaiya (2013).[6] He then appeared in several television commercials including Qarshi, Dalda, Telenor, Dollar Pencil and Blue Band. The purpose driven TVC of Blue Band, revolves around the idea of taking care of children's health gained tremendous recognition.[5]
