Abasiama Idaresit

Abasiama Idaresit is a Nigeria-born technology entrepreneur and founder and CEO of Wild Fusion Limited, a digital marketing agency with offices in Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya. Forbes Magazine named him among "Ten African Internet Millionaires To Watch" in 2013.[1]

Idaresit started his business with $250 seed funding and built it into a multi-million company across three African countries. He has worked to empower businesses and enable African startups to succeed using technology like Baby M.[2]

He was listed among the top 100 African economic leaders of the future in 2015 by Choiseul Institute.[3]

Early life and education

Idaresit was born in Calabar, Cross Rivers State, Nigeria and attended primary and secondary education in Nigeria including Federal Government Colleges in Ido-ani and Ikot Ekpene. He furthered his studies at London School of Economics where he studied Information system and management and got an MBA at Manchester Business School[4]

Career

Idaresit has been involved with the EDDi Education for Democracy and Development Initiative using accessible technologies to empower the visually impaired among other technology-focused social initiatives. Idaresit founded Wild Fusion Limited in 2010.[5]

Recognition

In 2013, he was voted most inspiring tech CEO in Nigeria.[6] He was named by Forbes magazine among top 10 African internet millionaires to watch, and was also listed by a Paris-based think tank among the top 100 African economic leaders of the future.[7]
