Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Musa'ed bin Jiluwi Al Saud

Abdullah bin Abdullaziz bin Musa'ed bin Jiluwi Al Saud (Arabic: عبد الله بن عبد العزيز بن مساعد بن جلوي آل سعود‎) (1931 – 4 July 2015) was governor of the Northern Borders Region. He served as the Emir of the northern border region and its capital and administrative Arar from 1957 until his death in 2015. He also served as the Governor of Qassim region for ten years. He was one of the longest serving governors in the Kingdom.[1]

Early life

Abdullah was born in Hail in 1931.[2] His father, Prince Abdul Aziz bin Musaid, was the cousin of King Abdul Aziz and one of his commanders. His brother, Prince Jiluwi bin Abdul Aziz, is the governor of Najran Region. Prince Abdullah was appointed by King Saud to the post as governor of the Northern Borders Region in 1956.

Death

Prince Abdullah bin Abdullaziz bin Musa'ed died on 4 July 2015. He was buried after Isha prayer on 6 July 2015 at the Grand Mosque in Mecca.[3]
