Act of Faith (Christian)
The act of faith is a prayer in which a person professes the beliefs of Christianity.[1] In the Catholic Church, an individual is required to make an act of faith when they come to the age of accountability.[2] An example of an act of faith is as follows:[3]
O my God, I Believe in you and all the truths which the holy Catholic Church teaches, because you have revealed them, who can neither deceive nor be deceived. Amen.[3]
