Aegila

Aegila or Aigila (Ancient Greek: τὰ Αἴγιλα or Αἴγιλα) was a town of ancient Laconia with a temple of Demeter.[1]

For the island known anciently by this name, see Antikythera.

It site is tentatively located at Kionia Kournou.[2][3]
