Elected as a Republican to the Eighty-third Congress in 1952, and reelected to the three succeeding Congresses, Bosch served from January 3, 1953, until his resignation on December 31, 1960.[1] Bosch voted in favor of the Civil Rights Acts of 1957 and 1960.[2][3]

He also was a member of the Bushwick Club business association, among other service groups to which he belonged.[5]

After living in Jamaica Estates in the early 1970s, he moved with his wife to Whiting, New Jersey in 1976.[6] Following his wife's death in 1995, he moved to Amityville, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
