Alex van Groningen
Alex van Groningen (12 March 1965 — 1 July 2020) was a Dutch businessman.[1]
After a being a director of "Thinktank" and being a teacher at the VU University in Amsterdam, he developed a training course on takeovers.[1] It became a success and in 1994 he founded his own company for education and training. He expanded his business in financial services and support services. His company grew with online platforms and magazines including AccountantWeek, M&A Magazine, Financieel Management and CFO Magazine.[2][1]
From 2002, Van Groningen organized congresses and started a training institute for financial directors in South Africa.[3] In 2019 Van Groningen took over the Amsterdam Institute of Finance, the training institute for financial specialists.[2]
