Alexander (yacht)

Alexander is a yacht which was built in 1965 in Lubecker Flender shipyard. The yacht is property of the Latsis family. It was later refurbished in Germany for use as yacht charter.

Design

The yacht's overall length is 123.5 meters, and her length between the two perpendiculars is 116.50 meters. Her beam is 16.50 meters wide. The tonnage of the yacht is 5,933 GT and her net tonnage is 1,779 NT. The main engines of Alexander are two MAN with a power rating of 2 × 4,025 hp (3,001 kW). It can reach a maximum speed of 18.5 knots (34.3 km/h) and a cruising speed of 17.2 knots (31.9 km/h).

Accommodation

Alexander accommodates her guests in 40 staterooms, 39 of which are double rooms and one single. The yacht also has a suite for the yacht-owner, which consists of a living room, a bedroom, and a spacious bathroom. The yacht has a meeting hall, a conference hall, a private cinema, a large living room, and a small restaurant. There are two outside bars and two jacuzzi and sunbathing areas. The yacht has a helicopter pad.
