Andrew Hill (pharmacologist)

Andrew Hill is a senior visiting Research Fellow in the Pharmacology Department at Liverpool University. He graduated from Oxford University, and later completed a PhD at Amsterdam University.

His main research is on antiretroviral treatment for developing countries and has worked on the development of antiretrovirals for HIV since 1992.

He is also an advisor to the Clinton Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, designing clinical trial programmes of dose optimisation for antiretrovirals.

He is the author of over 40 research papers on HIV and has been on the editorial board of AIDS and is currently an editor for the Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy.[1][2][3]
