Animal Quarantine Department

The Animal Quarantine Department (AQD) (Urdu: سررشتہ برائے قرنطینہِ حیوانات‎) is an agency of the Government of Pakistan, which is responsible for animal quarantine services in Pakistan.[1] It is an attached department of Ministry of National Food Security and Research and a Federal Minister is the head of the ministry. Khusro Bakhtiar is the head of ministry from 19 November 2019.
