Ann Marie Finkler Lambert

Ann Marie Lambert-Finkler (born Hanna Geiger; 1920 – 2003) was an Israeli diplomat. From 1984 to 1986, she was Israeli ambassador to Nepal.[1] In 2018, she was named as a Jewish rescuer in the context of her WWII-era activities.[2]

Life

Lambert was born in Rzeszów, Poland and grew up in Metz. She worked as a translator She was a member of the Armée Juive. In June 1944 she was arrested, later fleeing to Switzerland and ultimately emigrating to Israel.[3]

Lambert was director of the Israeli Foreign ministry, human rights department.[4][5]
