Anti-Fascist Struggle Day
Anti-Fascist Struggle Day (Croatian: Dan antifašističke borbe) is a national holiday in Croatia. It is celebrated on June 22, marking the events that happened in World War II, the forming of the First Sisak Partisan Detachment on June 22, 1941, and in general the uprising of the anti-fascist Croatian wing of the Yugoslav Partisans against the forces of Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and their puppet state the Independent State of Croatia.
