Asaphodes camelias
Asaphodes camelias is a species of moth in the family Geometridae.[3][2] It is endemic to New Zealand.[1] Specimens of this species have been collected in the southern North Island hill country,[4] as well as near the Waitaha River[5] and at Paroa,[6] both in the South Island. A. camelias is regarded a typical species of the West Coast region and have been trapped during the months of February to May as well as July to September.[6]

Taxonomy
This species was first described by Edward Meyrick in 1888 as Larentia camelias using a male specimen collected in December in Whangarei.[7]
