Askar Ali

Askar Ali is an Indian film actor known for his work in Malayalam cinema. He made his debut with the film Chembarathipoo[1] and is best known for acting in Honey Bee 2.5 (2017) and Kaamuki (2018).[2] He is the younger brother of Malayalam actor Asif Ali.[3][4][5]

Early life and family

Askar Ali was born on 6 January 1993 in Thodupuzha, Kerala, India to a Muslim family. He had his schooling at Vimala Public School, De Paul Higher Secondary School and St George H.S.S, Muthalakodam, Thodupuzha. He completed his bachelor's degree in commerce and business from Marian College, Kuttikkanam. After his studies, he went to Chennai and started working as assistant director. In between times he was called back to Kerala to perform the main role in Honey Bee 2.5, directed by Shyju Anthikad. Even though he signed his film Chembarathipoo directed by Arun Vaiga before Honey Bee 2.5, due to delays in filming it was released as his second movie.[6]
