Audichya Brahmins
Audichya Brahmins are a Hindu Brahmin subcaste mainly from the Indian state of Gujarat.Audich means north in the Sanskrit language.They were brought to Gujarat from different regions of north India by a ruler called Mulraj Solanki around the turn of the first millennium.[1] They are the most numerous brahmin community in Gujarat.[2]
