Austin International Poetry Festival

The Austin International Poetry Festival is an unjuried four-day poetry festival involving poetry readings, workshops, open mics, poetry slams, and haiku.[1][2][3] Established in 1995, API publishes two Anthologies for the festival. These are di-vêrseʹ-city (Adult Anthology)[4][5] and di-vêrseʹ-city Youth Anthology[6] - which are also read by the poets during poetry readings at the festival.[7]

This festival went on hiatus in 2020 and will return in 2021.

The AIPF is partially funded by the City of Austin Cultural Arts Division.
