Avijatrik

Avijatrik is an upcoming Bengali drama film directed by Subhrajit Mitra and produced by Madhur Bhandarkar.[1][2] The film is releasing under the banner of Bhandarkar Entertainment. According to the director, this is an extension or sequel to Satyajit Ray's Apu Trilogy.[3][4][5]

Plot

The film revolves with Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay's iconic character Apu. Apu relives his childhood through the eyes of Kajol, his only child. Father and son duo start a new journey to Varanasi and his native village Nischindipur.
