Baglioni Hotels
Baglioni Hotels S.p.A. is an Italian company that owns a chain of nine luxury hotels, most of which are situated in palazzos in Italy's main cities: five in Italy (Milan, Venice, Florence, Punta Ala and Rome), two in France (Aix-en-Provence and Saint Paul de Vence), one in London, and one in the Maldives.[1][Cite 1]

History
- In 1974, Roberto Polito founded Baglioni Hotels Group.
- In 1974, Polito bought his first property in Tuscany.
- In 1988, the company bought the Baglioni Hotel Luna in Venice.
- In 1989, the company bought the Baglioni Hotel Regina in Rome.
- In 1992, the company bought the Baglioni Hotel Carlton in Milan.
- In 1998, the company bought three hotels in France.
- In 2004, Baglioni Hotels inaugurated the Baglioni Hotel London.
- From 2004 to 2013, all the Baglioni Hotels were elected during the Word Travel Awards[2] as Italy's Leading Hotel and nominated in the Travel+Leisure 500.[3]
- In 2008, the Baglioni Hotel Luna was listed in the Condé Nast Traveller Gold List.[4]
- In 2009, the Relais Santa Croce Hotel in Florence was included in the Baglioni Hotels Collection.
