Bainbridge Island (Alaska)

Bainbridge Island (not to be confused with Bainbridge Island, Washington) is just east of Evans Island in the Prince William Sound of southern Alaska.

Bainbridge Island and nearby Bainbridge Passage, Bainbridge Point, and Bainbridge Glacier, were named by George Vancouver in 1794 in honor of the British astronomer John Bainbridge.[1]
