Bauhinia divaricata

Bauhinia divaricata is a species of flowering shrub of the family Fabaceae.[2] B. divaricata is the type species of the genus Bauhinia.[3] One common name for this species is pom pom orchid tree.[4] It is native to China, India and also grows in the southern half of Florida.[5] It has alternate bi-lobed leaves.[6]
