Bavithra

Bavithra, also known as VJ Bavithra, is an Indian actress, anchor and model known for her works in Tamil television. She is best known for her role in Nila. Bavithra is known as the only Tamil woman to have ever won the beauty pageant Miss South India.[2]

Career

Bavithra is an MBA graduate and worked for a corporate company for 3 years before leaving for her passion in modelling and anchoring. In 2016, she debuted as a lead actress with 50/50 as one of the three main actresses opposite V. Sethuraman.[3] She became popular for her role as a host in Vanakkam Tamizha, a breakfast television show. In 2019, she played the lead role in Nila,[4][5][6] and also appeared in the web series Nila Nila Odi Vaa.[7]
