Terroristic Threats Toward the District

Bay City ISD superintendent Keith Brown received a letter threatening the lives of students, as well as those of his immediate family members. The note was followed by a series of phone calls, many homes and businesses (including the local hospital) were called. Bomb threats were made against Linnie Roberts Elementary School and Bay City Junior High School. A man by the name of Paul Nolen May (a former substitute teacher) was arrested after he was recorded buying the prepaid cell phone that was used to make some of the calls, he did many handwriting analysis exams and it was found that he did not write the threatening letters. That person was never found.
