Bedi Mahal

Bedi Mahal or Babay Da Mehal is a palace situated in Kallar Syedan some 40KM away from Islamabad in Rawalpindi District, Punjab, Pakistan.[1][2].The palace was built by a Sikh spiritual and political leader who was the direct descendant, in the fourteenth place, of Sri Guru Nanak, Baba Khem Singh Bedi[3][4][5][6][7][8] in the later half of the 19th century. After the division of India and Pakistan, it was turned into a high school; now it is in ruins.
