Benzoxepin
Benzoxepin is an oxygen-containing heterocycle consisting of an Oxepin ring and a benzene ring. There are three isomers:
1-benzoxepin | 2-benzoxepin | 3-benzoxepin |

The bicyclic ringsystem of the benzoxepins is part of certain naturally occurring compounds. E.g. Perilloxin (I) from Perilla frutescens (variant Acuta),[1] and Tenual (II) and Tenucarb (III) from Asphodeline tenuior.[2]
