Bibb Graves Bridge
The Bibb Graves Bridge is located in Elmore County, Alabama, in downtown Wetumpka.
History
The bridge was built in 1931. It was made to help connect the two parts of the city, which are separated by the Coosa River. The bridge was named after Bibb Graves, who was an Alabama politician. Several scenes of the movie Big Fish were filmed on this bridge.
Structure
The bridge is notorious for its structure; it contains five concrete arches, which classifies it as an arch bridge.
