Binola

Binola is a village in Gurugram district of Haryana state in India.[2] It is 8 km from Manesar and 23 km from Gurugram.[2] Indian National Defence University[3] and Starex University are based at Binola.[4]

Demography

Binola has 834 people in 201 household as per 2011 census of India.[2]

Education

Indian National Defence University (INDU) is being established here by the Government of India on Delhi-Jaipur NH 48, based on the recommendations of the Kargil War Review Committee, foundation stone was laid by the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh at Binola on 23 May 2013.[5][6][3] It is expected to be functional from 2018 to 2019.[7]

Starex University is already operating from Binola.[4]

Economy

Binola is a main industrial area in the influence zone of Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor, Amritsar Delhi Kolkata Industrial Corridor, Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor, Western Dedicated Freight Corridor and Delhi Western Peripheral Expressway in NCR region.
