Bintang Dharma

Bintang Dharma (dharma which means law, goodness, justice) is a medal of honor bestowed on members of the military who have served and devoted time to the nation and the country beyond the call of conscription and also to the members instead of the Armed Forces as a reward for outstanding services for the advancement and development of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Indonesia.[1][2]

The star of the Dharma is a five-pointed star of a silver metal.

The giving of the Dharma Star is regulated in Law no.65 of 1958 together with the rules of Bintang Sakti. It is stated in the law that the Dharma Star is of a lower rank than the Bintang Sakti and can be given many times for different services and devotions.[3]

Medal Shape

A five-pointed star made of silver metal with a diameter of 35 millimeters, on the front illustrated "DARMAJAYA" with circles of cotton, on the back the words "Republic of Indonesia" is inscribed on it.

The star is accompanied by Patra whose shape and color combination is similar to the star's diameter of 50mm.

Star Band is a wide necklace ribbon 35mm wide and light green base with one lane in both edges of each measuring 2mm.
