Blood Red Sky

Blood Red Sky (also known as Transatlantic 473) is an upcoming English-German action suspense horror film written by Stefan Holtz and Peter Thorwarth, who is also the director.[1] The film stars Roland Møller, Peri Baumeister, Chidi Ajufo and Alexander Scheer.[2]

Plot

A woman with a mysterious illness is forced into action when a group of terrorists attempt to hijack a transatlantic overnight flight. In order to protect her son she will have to reveal a dark secret, and unleash the inner monster she has fought to hide.

On September 11, 2020 it was announced that filming in Prague for the movie Transatlantic 473 was temporarily closed after an extra tested positive for COVID-19.[4]

Release

Blood Red Sky is one of the 71 original films that Netflix will release in 2021, being part of a strategy that intends to release at least one new film every week.[5]
