Career
Del Barrio acted in short films and theater since the age of seven, and in September 2020 it was announced that they would join the cast of Star Trek: Discovery as Adira Tal for Season 3.[6][2] Del Barrio is the first actor who identifies as non-binary in Star Trek.[2] They listed Lachlan Watson, Indya Moore, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Theo Germaine, Asia Kate Dillon, and Brigette Lundy-Paine as role models for their career.[11] Discovery executive producer Alex Kurtzman has said del Barrio will return for Season 4.[12]
