Bonpara
Bonpara is a paurashava (municipal corporation) in Baraigram Upazila of Natore District in north-western Bangladesh.[1] It was established in the late 1920s by Christians from Bhawal, a Roman Catholic stronghold to the north of Dhaka District, and is one of the oldest Christian communities in the country. In 1940 the parish church (dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes) was consecrated and later St Joseph's High School was instituted.[2]
