Booby Trap (1957 film)
Booby Trap is a 1957 black and white British film, written by Peter Bryan and directed by Henry Cass.[1]
Plot
The story concerns a scientist who has invented a pen which will explode if a bell rings at a certain frequency. It is safe as long as the cap is left on.
The absent minded professor leaves his case (containing the pen) in a taxi. However, a dodgy customer in the taxi takes the case. This man, Sammy, is disappointed by the contents.
The film centres on the pen itself and the audience tension of situations in which it might accidentally go off.
