Plot
Ali is 18 years old and still a boy at heart. He is engaged to marry his childhood friend Neşe, but is unenthusiastic about it. Emine is a poor woman whose boyfriend Hasan is in jail. To help Ali prepare for his wedding and married life, his parents decide to arrange a traditional Eğreti Gelin (Borrowed Bride). This job is taken on by Emine who is desperate for the money, but also fearful of hot tempered Hasan's reaction. But complications come up when Ali and Emine fall in love with each other.
