Bouchard I of Montmorency

Bouchard de Bray, also Bouchard I of Montmorency (died c. 980) was the founder of the French noble House of Montmorency.

He married Ildegarde de Blois, a daughter of Theobald I, Count of Blois. His offspring were Bouchard II, le Barbu (the Bearded); Thibault de Bray, of Montlhéri, Count of Rochefort; Gometh, Lord of Gournay and Crecy, and Albéric, Lord of Vihiers.[1]
