Brendan Jordan was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on (1999-09-25)September 25, 1999 to a Peruvian father and an American mother.

The Buzz

On October 9, 2014, NewsChannel 8 filmed Jordan in the background of their live duplex while discussing the opening of Downtown Summerlin.[1] While being filmed, Jordan reproduced the dance moves of the Applause music video from Lady Gaga, released nearly two months before.[1]

The next day, Lady Gaga tweeted that she "liked him", while the drag community, including RuPaul and Pandora Boxx, was actively sharing the video.[1] The video was also widely diffused by medias like The Today Show,[2] ABC News,[3] and PopSugar. During the last three months, the video has been viewed more than 3.5 million times.

Other work

In October 2014, Jordan was on the stage of The Queen Latifah Show where he met Raven from RuPaul's Drag Race. In November 2014, he was a model for the American Apparel brand.[1][4] He was chosen for how he used their platform to raise awareness towards the LGBT community.[4]
