The company has been a subsidiary of career search firm CareerBuilder since 2014.[1]

History

Kelly Robinson founded Broadbean in 2001, and became the company's CEO.[2]

In October 2008, the company was acquired by Associated Northcliffe Digital (AND), the digital consumer division of the Daily Mail and General Trust.[3] Also in 2008, Broadbean was recognized by Deloitte in its Fast 500 as the 27th fastest growing company in the United Kingdom.[4]

In July 2010, Broadbean and the other member companies of Associated Northcliffe Digital were merged into Associated Newspapers, another subsidiary of Daily Mail and General Trust.[5]

In January 2012, it was announced that Broadbean and several other job search related properties were being merged into a new global digital recruitment group called Evenbase.[6]

In April 2014, Broadbean was acquired by CareerBuilder.[1]

In August 2015, Broadbean released cloud-based analytics software called Big Data Analytics Suite (BDAS).[7]

In June 2017, CareerBuilder was purchased by the private-equity firm Apollo Global Management and the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board.[8]

Products

The company’s main product is Adcourier. The software distributes job postings to multiple third-party job sites visited by job-seekers.[9] It includes data analytics functions to determine the best posting channels, and when to post.[10]

The company also offers an online analytics suite called Big Data Analytics Suite, which consolidates and analyzes information from multiple job boards.[7]
