Bruinisse

Bruinisse is a town in the southwest of the Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland, Zeeland.

In 2001, the town of Bruinisse had 3154 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.71 km², and contained 1248 residences.[1] The statistical area "Bruinisse", also including the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 4500.[2]

Bruinisse was a separate municipality until 1997, when it was merged into Schouwen-Duiveland.[3]
