Bucculatrix sporobolella

Bucculatrix sporobolella is a moth in the family Bucculatricidae. It was described by August Busck in 1910 and is found in North America, where it has been recorded from New Mexico and California.

The wingspan is 7.5–8.0 mm (0.30–0.31 in). The fore wings are white, and closely overlaid with minute, reddish-ocherous or fuscous-tipped scales. The hind wings are fuscous. Adults have been recorded on wing in July and October, probably in two generations per year.

The larvae have been reported as feeding on Sporobolus airoides.[2]
