Buddleja 'Podaras3' = Flutterby Grande Tangerine Dream
Buddleja 'Podaras3', selling name Flutterby Grande Tangerine Dream, is a sterile hybrid cultivar raised by Peter Podaras whilst at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, and patented in 2011. Flutterby Grande Tangerine Dream is a selection from the progeny arising from the crossing of B. marrubiifolia with B. alternifolia.

Description
Flutterby Grande Tangerine Dream has an upright and outwardly spreading habit, growing to 1.8 × 1.8 m, with small terminal and axial globular to oval panicles comprising approximately 32 faintly fragrant orange flowers. The opposite, narrowly elliptic leaves are about 5 cm long by 2 cm wide with pubescent surfaces, and a petiole 3 mm long
Cultivation
Flutterby Grande Tangerine Dream is not known (2012) to be in cultivation beyond the USA. The shrub is reputedly hardy to - 29° C.
References
Released in 2011, the cultivar has yet to appear in literature. The only reference (2012) is the US patent application given.
