CJZ’s drama slate includes My Life is Murder starring Lucy Lawless (Ten/Acorn), House of Hancock, a biopic on one of the world’s richest (and most litigious) women (Nine Network), House of Bond, the rags to riches to rags tale of the fallen entrepreneur and Americas Cup winner Alan Bond, a quiver of seven Blackjack telemovies (Ten/BBC), and The Great Mint Swindle (Nine Network). CJZ’s scripted comedies include Mr Black (Ten), Street Smart (Ten), You’re Skitting Me (ABC Me) and Shaun Micallef’s The Ex-PM (ABC).

CJZ’s principals are Michael Cordell and Nick Murray who between them, have decades of television and media experience. Director of Production is Toni Malone. CEO is Matt Campbell, former Director of Content at SBS and former MD of Shine Australia.

CJZ proudly owns leading NZ indie Greenstone, which produces some of the highest rating shows on NZ television including Motorway Patrol, Border Patrol and Renters. The third series of tween drama Cul de Sac continues to garner huge acclaim. Its newest drama, Vegas began production in late 2020. Greenstone has a full slate of factual series in production, with offices in Auckland and Dubai.

Greenstone

Greenstone TV is a New Zealand-based television production company that produces factual, entertainment, drama and documentary programs.

Greenstone was founded in 1994 by John Harris. In December 2013 Greenstone was purchased by Australian production company CJZ, creating an independent international production group.[3]
