Caesar's Beach

Caesar's Beach is a beach in Palasë, Albania,[1] with a coastal resort and residences.[2] Palasë is the shore on which Julius Caesar set foot in southern Albania when he was chasing Pompeus in the civil war of 1st century BC. It is well known for its proximity with different attraction sites including UNESCO Heritage Sites such as: the National Park of Llogora and Butrint, the canyon of Gjipe, Blue Eye Spring, Pirates cave or Borsh Spring. Palasë is also known as the “Caesar’s Path”, defined similarly in the Roman epic poem of Lucan, “Pharsalia[3]”.
