Canyon Lakes Ranger District

The Canyon Lakes Ranger District is part of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests and the Pawnee National Grassland in the United States, specifically on the Roosevelt National Forest. This land is a part of the United States Forest Service. It is located in north-central Colorado in Larimer County and encompasses 650,022 acres (2,631 km2). The Canyon Lakes District Office is located in Fort Collins, Colorado.

A variety of recreation opportunities exist on the district, along with many traditional uses such as firewood gathering and grazing. The Canyon Lakes Ranger District is home to four wilderness areas (Cache La Poudre Wilderness, Rawah Wilderness, Comanche Peak Wilderness and Neota Wilderness), three national recreation trails, two historic districts and Colorado's only Wild and Scenic River the Poudre River. There are over 350 miles of trail to explore on the district and 22 developed campgrounds.

Colorado state highways 34, 36 and 14 provide access to this area.
