Carlos Hoenen

Carlos Hoenen was a German photographer who lived in Brazil during the 19th century. Little is known about his biography, only that he kept an atelier of photography in São Paulo called Photographia Allemã (German Photography). Inaugurated in 1875, it remained active during ten years, a period in which it is presumed that he took more than nine thousand photos.[1]
